Rain Shadows Under the Trees
World premiere of “Rain Shadows Under the Trees” saxophone solo by the composer Jean-Bernard Collès. A rather slow poetic piece with classical writing which takes us into the endearing world of Jean-Bernard Collès.
Among others from the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris, where he obtained a Saxophone Prize in 1983 in the class of Daniel Deffayet Frederic Lagoutte played in many classical formations (including the Lyon National Orchestra under Emmanuel Krivine and Serge Baudo), jazz or variety.
He divides his time between teaching and concerts, including a duet with Saxophone & Organ occurring since 1997.
