The piece follows the structure of Haruki Murakami’s novel “Strange Library”. The atmosphere is building an unreal impression. Music is written using complete graphical notation and extended technique.

Madera Winds Duo Recital

The flute and saxophone duo will perform two pieces, one transcription of Robert Muczynski’s Duos (originally for flute and clarinet) and one commissioned by the group ‘ All Aflutter’ by Dominic Dousa.

SaxOpen is the occasion to present the European premiere of Sarx Ergon, a solo soprano work, by British composer Martin Iddon. His music is known worldwide and has been performed by many ensembles.
