True Tone

Stef Verpraet (classical saxophone) and Dorian De Rycker (jazz saxophone) offer a show which combines classical and jazz music in a crossover project, with electronics, loopstations, keyboard.

Biography

Stef Verpaet:
Stef Verpraet studied with Hans de Jong at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, where he graduate with maxima cum laude for saxophone and magna cum laude for chamber music. After his studies at Antwerp Stef went to Tilburg to study bass saxophone with Andreas Van Zoelen. Stef plays in this project tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone and bass saxophone combined with loopstation, electronic effects,… Stef is a Selmer Performing Artist.
Dorian De Rycker:
Dorian De Rycker studies jazz saxophone with Bart Defoort at the Conservatory of Ghent. He is a well known pop and jazz pianist and plays in this project soprano saxophone and alto saxophone combined with keyboard and electronic effects.
