More information

We can see that there is a relationship between composers and performers in the process of creating a new repertoire that is why I understand that it is necessary to mobilize artists to create. Currently I have government grant for order new two pieces by young polish composers. Therefore Grzegorz Duchnowski began work on new Sonata and he writes it special for Congress.
We chose the form of sonata because there is no Polish repertoire of chamber compositions that would be something similar to the Polish saxophonists like Sonata by Denisov. Maybe we dream but we would like to try to create something unique in our area. Contemporary saxophone music is not very popular in Poland is why I would like to help in promotion my national saxophone pieces. Presentation of Polish piece at the International Congress help us to development saxophone position in Europe.
