Biography
The Costa Rica Saxophone Ensemble was founded 16 years ago and its members come from the main saxophone studios of the country: University of Costa Rica, National University and National Institute of Music.
The ensemble its very active during the year presenting concerts at he Costa Rica National Theater, National Auditorium and different music festivals in Costa Rica. It also has participated in different music Festival in the Latin American area.
There are many compositions commissioned and dedicated to this ensemble that has increase the latin american repertoire in this genre.
