Colors, the new album of Claude Georgel wil be played by a famous french sax quartet SAX4. It consists of 4 pieces of different colours to sublimate each type of saxophone, soprano to baritone.
Biography
Sax4 is not an ordinary saxophone quartet.
Keen on meetings, discoveries and explorations, the musicians have tried to play all genres since 1990, when the band was created. Their recordings, creations and collaborations tend to prove this. Numerous trips and meetings have contributed to create a band with a strong personality.

“Colors” ( 23’00) is a new album for a famous french sax quartet SAX4 , recording 2014 in Forbach. It is specially written by Claude GEORGEL saxophone soprano and composer.
It’s also a suite of 4 pieces, a color for any saxophone of the quartet, waltz in green for alto, Nuit blanche for baritone, Tango violet for tenor and Danza near for soprano.
