More information
Respiratory muscle training is a technique for developing strength and endurance of your breathing muscles. Our research group (Royal Conservatory Brussels, University of Brussels) recently conducted an interdisciplinary artistic-scientific experiment on respiratory muscle training for saxophone players. Using these research results I will illustrate the principles of respiratory muscle training, the possible effects on your sound and how it can help you during practicing or performance.
