KUG-SAX-SIPPA is a Student-Collective 13-Piece Sax Orchestra, founded by Gerald Preinfalk, the Professor for Classical Saxophone at the University of performing Arts in Graz, Austria. The exiting mix of current and graduated students make every meeting feel like a family reunion! Alumnis like to come back to their Alma Mater, current students like to taste reality. Additional to the social effect is the original music, especially written for the ensemble. Preinfalk’s urge is to combine contemporary techniques, classical elements, jazzish Improvisation in compact rhythmic motion!
