More information
In Tunnel Ensemble we strongly believe in the possibilities of the saxophone; we discover a whole world of sounds in connection with the electronics and our goal is to make it musically and accessible for any audience.
We experiment with different kinds and positions of microphone. A normal DPA, contact microphone, small microphones inside the tube, between the paths, etc. This gives us a huge amount of new sounds. We select the most interesting sets thinking in the performative aspects of the way to produce sound and with the interaction of electronics.
In the studio we are always working together in the process of the composition, melting our knowledge in order to go further in the research and enhance always our musical interaction.
We look forward to sharing these new ways of exploration with all the saxophone colleagues to inspire and improve the world of the electroacustic music and the saxophone.
