Biography
Winners of the 6th International Israeli Music competition in London, and the 3d
International TEREM-CROSSOVER competition in Saint-Petersburg, the Jerusalem Duo, is a unique voice, which goes beyond the boundaries of conventional music genres.
Harpist Hila Ofek and saxophonist Andre Tsirlin are two young musicians both graduated from the Jerusalem Academy of Music & Dance and currently based in Germany.
The duo performs concerts in numerous stages in Europe and Israel, takes part as teachers each year in the International Klezmer festival in Israel, The Klezmer workshops in Mainz, Germany, and collaborates regularly with famous musicians such as Maestro Giora Feidman and Grammy winner Raul Jaurena.

We would like to share with the audience our experience to combine two very different instruments, that usually dose not play together.
We believe that the variety range of styles, from klezmer through classical music and up to tango and jazz, can provide a wonderful new sound in the world of music.
