Nathan Mensik proposes to give a short presentation right before Dale Underwood’s concert to talk about his life, career, and some of his musical accomplishments.
Biography
I am currently studying with Dale Underwood and Gary Keller and am a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Miami. I have previously studied under Dr. Jon Gudmundson, Dr. Greg Wheeler, and Dr. John Davis. I currently perform with several of the University of Miami’s premier groups, a newly founded Silver Duo, am a sub for the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, and was one of the finalists in the audition for the President’s Own Marine Band last year.

I propose to give a short presentation right before Dale Underwood’s concert to talk about his life, career, and some of his musical accomplishments. Dale has made a significant contribution to the development of the classical saxophone in America, as well as the rest of the world. I would like to spend about 15 minutes right before his concert talking about some of his achievements and his teachings.
