Biography

Min is a 17 year old saxophonist from South Korea who currently studies Saxophone/Music at CRR De Paris. He started playing saxophone since he was 9, and started winning many competitions at the age of 12, including 1st prize in 2009 Seoul National University Woodwind Alumi Competition, Korean National Youth Instrumentional Competition, 2010 CBS Youth Competition as well as 11th Osaka International Music Competition (Junior Woodwind section). He has also appeared on many TV programs, both nationally and internationally which inspired many audiences, as well as being casted in a main role in a movie. His talent was recognized early which has allowed him to study at the Koreas best Music institution, and he has completed Korean High School graduation program at the age of 14. He then moved to France to study at The Conservatoire de Strasbourg under professor Phillippe Geiss. He released his first saxophone solo album the following year. His second Gospel saxophone album will be released later this year. He is now majoring in classical saxophone however he has also interest in Jazz, and is hoping to become a crossover musician in the near future.
