Biography

Möebius quartet was founded in 2009, with a performing repertoire that includes differents styles such the traditional saxophone quartet masterpieces but also contemporary works and transcriptions from the Baroque to 20th century. His members obtained the highest grades in schools such Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid, Conservatorio Superior de Música de Alicante and CRR de Montpellier with teachers like Juan Clemente, J. M. Zaragoza or Philippe Braquart. In addition, they attended masterclasses with Eric Devallon, Christian Wirth, Claude Delange, or Vincent David. The quartet was finalist in the 5th International Chamber Music Competition of Villalgordo del Júcar (Spain) and won the 2nd price in the 3rd Yamaha International Saxophone Quartet Competition (Madrid, Spain).
