Wisuwat Pruksavanich and Cloud Wanderer Band will present two new progressive rock compositions using contemporary saxophone techniques written by themselves : Karn and A-na-Kod.
Biography
Wisuwat Prucksawanich (Lead Saxophone) has composed “Karn” as his personal project and used back-up musicians to perform it since 2012. He made his own album called Hard Fairy and went to perform the songs around in Bangkok. Until July 2014, he’s gathering a musicians to made a band and called it as Cloud Wanderer. They performed at Siam Motor Building (14 December 2014) and College of Music, Mahidol University (16 December 2014) with “Karn” and Dream Theater’s songs.

Presents saxophone and rock instruments music. It will explore varied sounds of saxophone which combines different music styles like contemporary, jazz, and rock. The innovative sounds reveal the promising future of saxophone.
Wisuwat Pruksavanich and Cloud Wanderer Band will present two new progressive rock compositions written by themselves. The first song is Karn, meaning time in Thai. Since the song consists of varied saxophone techniques like slap tongue, multiphonic, double tongue and output effect which creates a lot of changes in time and rhythm.
“A-na-Kod” mean future. The group decide to compose the piece that relate to timeline, more further from Karn. This piece include Thai tradition sound mix with contemporary techniques of saxophone. Cloud Wanderer would like to present those in progressive rock style.

At world saxophone congress Cloud Wanderer will perform with mini salaya saxophone ensemble.
